Ayasha Roberson is President and founder of Healthier Shore Kids. She has an earned a Bachelor degree in Sociology from Richard Stockton College of NJ in 2002 and received a certification in Kids and Teen Fitness Instructor in January of 2010. In addition, she runs another non-profit organization called The Creative Arts Organization which provides visual, performing arts, and mentor services to students in Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia.
Furthermore, she works at Monmouth Medical Center as a Psychiatric Screener, seats on the board of the Manalapan Arts Council, Stockton Alumni Association, and member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. In the fall of 2010, Ms. Roberson will be pursing a Master degree in Administrative Science at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Rita A. Mensah is a Professional Counselor/Psychotherapist. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in 2001. In 2006, she completed a Master degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health Counseling from The College of Saint Elizabeth. Ms. Mensah currently works as the Senior Adjunctive Therapist for Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey, where she supervises the department that specializes in group psychotherapy and designing therapeutic activities and interventions that utlize creative arts, recreation, and didactic methods to improve and maintain positive mental health.
Ms. Mensah is the Vice President and Co Founder of Healthier Shore Kids. Her other professional and organizational affliations include: American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, National Ghana Parade Council, and National Black Marathoners Association.
Introducing our new Board of Director Member Monique Mabry and she is the Public Relation Coordinator/Secretary of Healthier Shore Kids. In addition Monique Mabry is Director of Media and Social Events of Urban Socialites. Currently she is a full time student enrolled at Jersey City University majoring in English/Journalism. Ms. Mabry has a strong belief in justice and peach and empowering the community she feels as though every living being has valuable purpose and she strives to produce success and motivation to youth and minorities who have extreme visions. Furthermore, Ms. Mabry is also an active member in her Community Service group at the Joy Temple of Deliverance Church in Jersey City New Jersy which feeds the homless every holiday and the Aids Awareness Organization at New Jersey City University that promotes safe sex and sex education.
